The Hogeye

Brand Identity, Advertising, Collateral

The One For All

The one and only Hogeye.

The Hogeye Marathon was named by a group of runners in 1977 that wanted to form a running community focused on inclusion and camaraderie. The first marathon was held, looping from the University of Arkansas down Highway 265 to Hogeye, Arkansas. And so, The one and only Hogeye was born.

The Hogeye needed a complete overhaul of the identity surrounding the event. Inspired by heraldry, we introduced a versatile family of logos that honor the tradition behind the race. The identity is anchored by two hog charges, custom type, and a unique system of color that continually reinforces the race’s welcoming spirit.

The One For All

Inspired by heraldry, we introduced a versatile family of logos that honor the tradition behind the race. The identity is anchored by two hog charges, custom type, and a unique system of color that continually reinforces the race’s welcoming spirit. We also partnered with the Hogeye to establish a strategy, voice and clear messaging throughout the brand. Our goal was to create a brand that felt just as welcoming, unique and energetic as the community that hosts the event, while at the same time, instilling a sense of tradition and longstanding feeling of belonging.
